As the backdrop for its new collection in Pure Silk and Cotton Silk, Falconeri has chosen the lights of the city of Florence. This collection presents the essence of elegance and the lightness of silk as a must for the strong and confident style that has always characterised Italian women.

Silk is a precious and intelligent natural fibre that can be used for both leisure and work wear, thanks to its incredible elasticity, which gives it special strength. It creates an elegant yet fresh style, a delicate and “quiet” luxury in the Falconeri style. In the collection the yarn is found both in colour-block proposals in vitamin sea shades (peach pink and sky blue) and in prints (tiger stripes and polka dots for instance) featured on shirts, skirts and trousers to keep up with the latest trends.

The combination of two precious fibres – silk and cotton – has given rise to a yarn conceived by Falconeri called Cotton Silk, whose performance and properties are so outstanding that it is known as the cashmere of summer fibres. A magic fibre blend, that is perfectly balanced and was designed by the brand: 100% natural, it is composed of 57% silk and 43% cotton.

Extremely light and super comfortable, Cotton Silk garments can be worn directly against the skin or together with other yarns, and add an elegant touch to any outfit. The yarn is tinged with all the shades of the collection and we find it featuring among the knitwear proposals, such as the short-sleeved crewneck jumper or the brand new jumper with V-neck and side slits.
